Who we are

GOAT Sports Memorabiliais an independent reseller of autographed sports memorabilia. We are not affiliated with, licensed by, sponsored by, or endorsed by any athlete, team, league, or players’ association. Names, nicknames and team names appear on this site to identify the item being sold and for no other purpose.

Every item is a single item

Inventory is one-of-one. Each listing represents exactly one physical object, and a sold piece is gone rather than out of stock — its page retires and is not restored. Adding an item to a cart does not reserve it; the piece is allocated to the first order that completes payment.

When a contract is formed

A listing is an invitation to buy, not a binding offer. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation naming the specific item. Until then we may decline an order — for example where the item has already sold, where the piece has failed a re-verification of its certificate, where payment cannot be verified, or where we cannot ship insured to the address given. If we decline an order after taking payment, we refund it in full and immediately.

Prices and errors

Prices are in United States dollars and exclude any sales, use or import tax, which is calculated at checkout or collected by the destination authority. If a listing shows a manifestly incorrect price or a materially incorrect description, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it; we will not simply ship a different item. We do not publish comparisons against other sellers, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim about anyone else’s pricing.

Authenticity guarantee

Every autographed item is certified by an independent authentication house, and the certificate number is printed on the listing. If a certificate we supplied cannot be verified against the issuing house’s own records, return the piece and we will refund the full purchase price plus outbound and return shipping, with no fee and no time limit. That guarantee is set out in the authenticity policy and forms part of these terms.

Authentication is an expert opinion. We pass on the opinion the issuing house recorded and do not warrant anything beyond what that certificate states. Where an item is a retail piece rather than game-used, the listing says so and no game-use claim is made or implied.

Descriptions and images

We describe condition honestly and disclose, on the listing itself, whether the photographs show the exact item or are representative stock imagery. Screen colour rendition varies; a shade difference between your display and the object is not a defect. Measurements are approximate to the nearest stated unit.

Returns

The returns policy forms part of these terms, including the 14-day window, the condition requirements, who pays return freight, and the restocking fee on a change-of-mind return.

Acceptable use

• Do not scrape, mirror, or bulk-copy listings, images or descriptive copy. The site text, photography and page structure are ours.
• Do not interfere with the site’s operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or attempt to access another customer’s order.
• Do not place orders you do not intend to pay for, or use a card you do not own.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the item concerned. We are not liable for speculative or consequential loss, including any change in an item’s market value after purchase. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing here limits your statutory consumer rights where they apply to you.

Memorabilia is not an investment product. Nothing on this site is financial advice and we make no representation about future value.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts sitting in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the law of your place of residence gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim locally.
